The CDF1.17BTN8 is a 1" exit compression driver engineered for professional sound reinforcement systems requiring controlled high-frequency output, mechanical durability, and consistent long-term performance. Designed by B&C Group and manufactured to Eminence Pro™ standards, this driver is optimized for OEM loudspeaker platforms in portable PA, stage monitor, and fixed installation applications where robustness and reliability are critical.

Rated at 60 W nominal / 120 W continuous program power, the CDF1.17BTN8 delivers stable high-frequency performance under continuous operating conditions. With a 106 dB sensitivity, it supports efficient system designs while maintaining controlled output across the operating band. The driver operates over a 1.0 kHz – 18 kHz frequency range and is optimized for use with a 1.5 kHz or higher crossover slope (12 dB/oct or greater), supporting durable two-way system designs.

The motor assembly incorporates a 44 mm (1.7") aluminum voice coil paired with a titanium diaphragm, providing increased mechanical strength and long-term stability in demanding environments. A 1" (25 mm) throat exit ensures compatibility with a wide range of professional HF horns and waveguides, enabling flexible integration across multiple enclosure formats.
