The CDF1.17AMY8 is a high-efficiency 1" exit compression driver engineered for professional sound reinforcement systems requiring controlled high-frequency output, high sensitivity, and reliable long-term performance. Designed by B&C Group and manufactured to Eminence Pro™ standards, this driver is optimized for OEM applications in portable PA, stage monitor, and fixed installation loudspeaker platforms.
Rated at 60 W nominal / 120 W continuous program power, the CDF1.17AMY8 delivers consistent high-frequency performance in demanding environments. With a 106.5 dB sensitivity, it enables high acoustic output with minimal amplifier power, supporting efficient system designs and reduced thermal stress. The driver operates over a 1.5 kHz – 20 kHz frequency range and is optimized for use with a 1.2 kHz or higher crossover slope (12 dB/oct or greater).
The motor assembly features a 44 mm (1.7") aluminum voice coil combined with a polyester diaphragm, providing a balance of durability, controlled response, and stable performance under continuous operation. A 1" (25 mm) throat exit ensures compatibility with a wide range of standard professional HF horns and waveguides, offering flexible integration into new or existing enclosure designs.
