Jeff Barnes
Jeff Barnes is a Singer/Songwriter with a strong family heritage of music, and during his musical career he has shared the stage with such artists as (BTO) Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Anson and the Rockets, Jimmy Van Zant and David Alan Coe.
"Go It Alone" (Available on iTunes), written by Jeff Barnes in 2008 after the loss of his father Stewart Barnes, was his first song to get a film placement and has aired nationally in the 2010 K.E.T. (Kentucky Educational Television) "Kentucky Life" documentary titled "Father Loss" which was hosted by Dave Shuffett.
Jeff has made several television appearances on WBKI "The Morning Show" for interviews and to play his music live while promoting his first CD "Lonely Tracks" (Available on iTunes) in 2006 and his second CD "Blue Skies And Easy Times" (also available on iTunes) released in 2009.
Jeff also writes music and songs for television and radio commercials and was the winner of the following (KCMA) Kentucky Country Music Association awards:
- 2009 Songwriter Of The Year for "Redneck Lovesong".
- 2009 New Country Album Of The Year for "Blue Skies And Easy Times"
- 2009 New Country Band Of The Year "Jeff Barnes and the County Line"
In 2010 Jeff began working on his 3rd release titled "This Old Truck" and continues to perform his music live with his band "Jeff Barnes and the County Line" while shopping his songs to other artists and labels.
