Dante Fire

Dante Fire has had a wide exposure to the arts and business. You name it from performing bass and drums since the age of 12, to producing records. Since his chance meeting with Arsenio Hall at the Comedy Store in Hollywood and work on the infamous Carlos Martinez Show, Dante has led the jazz fusion group Cross-Effect through some very good times. Such as, a brief stint in Rick James band in 2002 after being hired to perform for Rick at his party. Some may recall Dantes much earlier hip hop work with Words of Mouth featuring Thump/Universal rap artist Bossolo. Lets not forget his production and direction of music videos like Insane that aired on MTV.

In addition to being a bandleader and musical director, Dante has also managed the vocalist Sabrina Vargas. Receiving his Bachelors from the University of Redlands and MBA from the University of Phoenix he has lectured on the music business and the history of African Drumming at The Los Angeles Academy of Arts, The Orange County School District, Loma Linda Academy, and La Sierra Academy. Additionally, Dante worked briefly for EMI Records before starting Music Mattress, Inc.

From a musical perspective, he has worked with many top artists ranging from R&B, jazz and hip hop. Some of the artists include: Al Jarreau, Jamie Foxx, Rick James, Candy Dulfer, and Ice-T. He has also performed with much sought after players like Tichina Pam Arnold (Martin Lawrence Show) Henry Franklin, Gustavo Ramirez, Ronald Brunner Jr. (Marcus Miller/Stanley Clarke/Kenny Garrett bands), Carlitos Del Puerto (Frank Gambale/ Chris Botti/ Arturo Sandoval), Donald Barrett (Carson Daily Show/ Seal/Pink Bands), Zane Musa (Arturo Sandoval/Carson Daily Show Band)
